Over at BookNet Canada, Tom Richardson, their data ace, has a breakdown of what’s new in ONIX codelists 38. It would be unnecessarily redundant for me to take on the same topic. (One thing always in the back of my mind when writing this blog is that the total audience for the topic of ONIX revisions in just a couple of thousand people.)
He includes the important reminder to ONIX 2.1 users (which, in my experience is, sadly, still the majority of ONIX users). ONIX 3.0 codelists and schema modules no longer contain codes or lists unique to ONIX 2.1. — the last list with 2.1.-specific coding was codelists 36.
